My Friend

by R.W.Tripp -

I have a friend that you might know.
Who gives to others so they will grow.
Herself; she never thinks of first..
But only others, is her curse.

She brought to me with open arms.
Her love and kindness, strength and charm.
This friend of mine is you, you see.
And a friend of mine you will always be..
                                         RWT
