2 eggsby Randy Ignatz (Aquarius) -I used to get two eggs, Sunny-side up of course, For breakfast or maybe dinner Depending on when you go to sleep. They were soft and runny, Sliding along my plate, And the yolk was bright yellow, Crayola colored and all, Staring at me waiting For my lips to touch. I remember that toast was your delicacy, You'd carefully smear butter To cover every inch of the bread, Never missing a spot, Then take little rabbit bites, Savoring each one, Like vintage wine Opened for the first time in ages. Your toast always came out Exactly as you had wanted it While my eggs, all the time, looked As edible as my plastic heart. I offered them to you once Saying that looks can be deceiving. "So can love," you replied, "So can love." Author: Randy Ignatz (Aquarius) - Reason: This is for all of the men that try to trick and manipulate women in their relationships. They are such bastards and ruin the good guys. Once again, send me comments! IP: 198.88.151.49 POEM ID: 2872 Edit this poem if it's ours. Add your comments about this poem.
