Alone I can't comprehend.
The anger, the fear, the hostility.
Help me to understand.
I can't accept that this is humanity.
Alone I can't stand. I am confused.
Standing in this vast technological wasteland.
We've become so hung up on $$
that we can't see we're sacrificing our souls.
Help me to understand.

How could I possibly have an optomistic outlook on life. I question why I'm relly striving to achieve all of my goals when the world just doesn't care.
