Birth Sister Found

Please take my ad off the "Lost Relatives" page. I found them!! I just got off the phone with my birth sister. I was the one lost. They thought that I was adopted. They thought that my records were sealed. I thought they wwere one place, when they were actually someplace else. It's been forty years!! My advice? DON'T EVER GIVE UP!!! When all seems lost, there is always prayer. Our prayers have been answered. I'm the baby of nine and I'm nnot alone anymore. Thank you for your assistance. Carol Taylor

Birth Father found

Shortly after posting my story on this site, I recieved an email message from a lady name Sally. She told me that she would be able to locate my father for me if I could get her a social security number. I immediately sent for my birth records hoping that my fathers SS# was on them. I was LUCKY because to my surprise, I had the SS# within a week. I immediately replied back to Sally with the number she had requested. Two hours later I checked my email to find the current address and phone number of my birth father. I was so excited. It took me two days to find enough courage to call him, and things went really well. We are now communicating and I hope things work out. No matter what happens, I will always be greatful for what Sally did for me. THANK YOU!!!!

Hi Mike , Yes I found out I have 5 sisters and 1 brother and they had been looking for awhile. My suggestions to other folks that are looking be prepared cause all renuions aren't happy one. I found out that 6 of us were sold for 500.00 apiece back in the 60's. The whole story has yet to be told but in the works. As soon as all the pieces to the puzzle are togather I'll drop you a line

6th Nov 1995 I am searching for my daughter, Nicey Raphael, whom I have not seen for approximately ten years. She is 26 years old and I have no idea of where she might be living. 4th Nov 1995 My cousin is looking for his birth parents. The following information was taken from his revised birth certificate at the time of his adoption. He was born at 3:05 a.m. on May 14, 1964 at the Methodist Hospital in Henderson Kentucky. He was delivered by Dr. J.A. or J.H. Logan III. He was adopted when he was 11 months old and does not know who took care of him the first 11 months of his life. It is believed that either his father or his mother was of Italian descent. My daughter-in-law is trying to locate her natural father. She was born in Wichita, Kansas either June 1960 or 1961. More than likely, it was at a military base as the natural father was in the service. It appears that he was actually married to someone other than her mother. Her mother is a bit sketchy about her finding this man. His name is either William Gaul or Bill Gaul. Her mother's first name is Josephine. This means a lot to her and I would appreciate any help you might offer. Her birth name is Sandra Faye Gaul.
My sister is trying to locate a friend from grade/junior high school days. We lived in Los Angeles, California during this period - 1942 - 1948. This friend's name was: Rita Adams. They attended Berendo Jr. High probably about 1945 - 1947. We lived at 1306 West Pico Blvd. which probably no longer exists in Los Angeles, California these days. This family also had another daughter, Shirley and a son (called baby) but probably named after the father "Lavel?"
A friend in California is trying to locate a military buddy who would have left the service in the late 50's. He was a Marine stationed at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. His name is Robert Finn. She thought he might have gone to the Chicago, Illinois area upon his discharge but has lost touch. He probably would be about 60 give or take a few years. Thanks for any help.

I have very little information on him, so any further information anyone may have would be greatly appreciated. I am searching for the family of a close friend. My friend was given up for adoption in British Columbia, Canada. She was born March 21, 1961 to Italian born parents. She is the last of nine children born to the same parents. Some of her siblings were born in Italy where her family were possibly in the garment/tailor industry. When they immigranted to Canada, we know that they lived in a northern mining community but left when her mother took ill. They moved to the lower mainland prior to the birth of my friend. She was adopted through a Catholic Adoption service. I know that at least one sibling died in Italy before they immigrated. At the time of the adoption one of her sisters - I think the oldest - was 13 years old.
