Thank you for coming to the CyberPagesRecipe Section. We hope you are
sufficiently hungry to browse through the many delicious recipe's
(organized by Country), and that this strenuous exercise will make you hungrier
still, causing you to rush to the kitchen to have a crack at the recipe of your choice.
If you are going to add a recipe for the benefit of the wonderful Internet
Community, please start the title of the Recipe with the country from where
it originates (eg India - Chicken curry). You may also wish to leave your email for comments (including
constructive suggestions for improvement if this is possible!!) from the hungry
masses.
By the way, the line about "your mother-in law's favourite recipe" was
a joke so please do not flame me (no pun intended !!).
Australia Mars Bars Slice
<![CDATA[3 cups Kellogs rice bubbles, 3 x 60g Mars Bars chopped.
75g butter, 1 tablespoon golden syrup. approx 150g cooking chocolate,
chopped. (or choc melts)
Place Mars Bars in a heatproof bowl with the butter and
golden syrup. Microwave on high for about 90 seconds
or until Mars Bars are melted. Mix until smooth
Pour into a large bowl theat has the Rice Bubbles in and
stir well. When all Rice Bubbles are coated press mixture
firmly into a foil lined cake tin.
melt cooking chocolate ( or choc. melts) in microwave and
pour over top of mixture. Spread evenly. Place in
refrigerator until firm.
Remove from fridge and slice into squares using a warm knife.
Should make approx. 16 sqares but maybe not
