it originates (eg India - Chicken curry). You may also wish to leave your email for comments (including
constructive suggestions for improvement if this is possible!!) from the hungry
masses.
By the way, the line about "your mother-in law's favourite recipe" was
a joke so please do not flame me (no pun intended !!).

1 packet marie biscuits -- crumbled
1/2 tin sweetened condensed milk
125 grams butter -- softened
250 grams packet liquorice all sorts -- finely chopped
LEMON ICING: -- optional
1 1/2 cups icing sugar -- sifted
1 teaspoon butter -- softened
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl until mixed well.
Put the mixture into a greased slice tin and refrigerate until firm,
about 2 hours.
OPTIONAL:
Lemon icing. Combine sifted icing sugar in a pot and add softened
butter and enough lemon juice to make a stiff paste. Heat pot slowly
until spreadable.

NOTES : If you like a richer taste, melt 200 grams of cooking
chocolate and 30 grams of butter together and put onto the slice in
place of the lemon icing.
