sufficiently hungry to browse through the many delicious recipe's
(organized by Country), and that this strenuous exercise will make you hungrier
still, causing you to rush to the kitchen to have a crack at the recipe of your choice.
If you are going to add a recipe for the benefit of the wonderful Internet
Community, please start the title of the Recipe with the country from where
it originates (eg India - Chicken curry). You may also wish to leave your email for comments (including
constructive suggestions for improvement if this is possible!!) from the hungry
masses.
By the way, the line about "your mother-in law's favourite recipe" was
a joke so please do not flame me (no pun intended !!).
Ambrosia Waldorf Salad
<![CDATA[Ambrosia Waldorf Salad
2 cups cranberry halves, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups miniature marshmallows
2 cups apples, unpeeled and diced
1 cup seedless green grape halves
1 20 oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained
3/4 cup Hammons Black Walnuts
4 cups nondairy whipped topping
1 cup coconut, shredded or flaked
Combine cranberries and sugar in medium bowl. In a large bowl,
combine the marshmallows, apples, grapes and pineapples. Add
cranberry mixture and Black Walnuts; mix well. Fold in whipped cream.
Cover and chill. Sprinkle with coconut before serving.
Makes 12-14 servings.
