still, causing you to rush to the kitchen to have a crack at the recipe of your choice.
If you are going to add a recipe for the benefit of the wonderful Internet
Community, please start the title of the Recipe with the country from where
it originates (eg India - Chicken curry). You may also wish to leave your email for comments (including
constructive suggestions for improvement if this is possible!!) from the hungry
masses.
By the way, the line about "your mother-in law's favourite recipe" was
a joke so please do not flame me (no pun intended !!).
Austalia Peanut Sauce/Satay
<![CDATA[6 tablespoons peanut butter
3 teaspoons garlic crushed with salt to taste
lemon juice
1 cup water
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1/2 cup coconut mlk or water
METHOD
combine peanut butter and water in a small saucepan and stir over a
gentle heat until melted. Remove from heat and add all other
ingredients, adding enough coconut mlk or water to make the paste a
thick puoring consistency. Adjust seasoning and add more salt and
lemon juice if necessary. Makes about 1 1/2 cups
