Early Rising In Montreal

by auth: Dave Skyrie - Not entered

6 in the morning awake & watching
the mustard glow of sun growing
into day, I am wondering how, last
night, when you came to me in silk,
you managed to keep your nipples
in the very centre of two
       small embroidered flowers.

Reason for writing:

Just one of those shining moments in life that keep you going. Partially inspired I guess by a very short poem by Raymond Souster or Al Purdy about finding a leaf covered in snow.
