A man has two Yes, two in his life One is his best friend And one is his wife His best is one Who will always be there Not just his friend When the weather is fair When times are hard And everything wrong His best friend is there To help him along When times are a joy And things going his way His best friend is there Enjoying the day Now there is another Who is in a man's life She is his lover She is his wife She treats him like royalty And crowns him with love She's a gift to him always From the good Lord above Now there is in my case Somthing strange in the sun My wife and my best friend The two became one Now because of this gift The Lord made to my life I now spend my days With my best friend AND wife.
