Reason for writing:
I was inspired to write this poem because of the destruction mankind has imposed on nature. I think I saw a report on the news about the burning of the rain forest and that very night I began work on what became this poem. Please e-mail me to let me know if and when this poem will be on the net. Also, if you have any information about The National Library of Poetry can you please e-mail that to me as well. This poem was actually accepted by them for publication. I've never had a poem or book published but I would like to someday. I have lots of poems that I have written over the years but I don't know if there any good. Your comments on this one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe
