Dragonlover

by Kari - Not entered

		Long ago,
Voyagers traveled to the end of the world.
	   And there they'd say,
"Beyond this point, there be dragons..."
Well Mine is from a far away place
 	He has blazing green eyes
And the fire of his passion
	     Melts me away -
      Blissfully lost in amber waves,
I have not found the end of the world,
    (Only glimpsed its possibilities)
And smiling, I dive head first into the exotic
		Sea-heart
	       Of my lover.

Reason for writing:

What inspired this poem? True love (the mermaid and the sailor) off the coast of Thailand on an island named Ko Samui.
