The Battle

by Al Pravato : Leo - Not entered

With a loud clap of thunder,
day becomes night,
and Satan arises,
and waits for the fight.

Good versus Evil,
the showdown is here,
its a fight that's been coming,
for over 2000 years!

The ground burst afire,
but Almighty makes rain,
and hear the Saints clapping,
as he puts out the flames.

Mountains explode,
as the lava runs wild,
Satan rejoices,
as he looks and he smiles.

A big gust of wind,
reaching ninety below,
the volcanoes stop spewing,
and turn into stone.

The Devil regroups,
and calls forth he demons,
Merciless zombies,
and Murderous hethans.

The Almighty thinks,
and has a trick up his sleeve,
use the wind once more,
and give the Earth a reprieve!

A tornado descends,
now within lies the Devil,
straight down it goes,
down the pathway toward Hell.

Goodness prevails,
but how long can it hold?
Will Satan return?
The future's untold.

Peace and Love,
are the Earth's best defense,
'cause Satan is out there,
and he'll never repent!!!
