untitled

by Andy Kosberg x2 - Not entered

I know that I have hurt you,
by trying so hard to protect you.
That night, my love, you felt pain,
and because if that, I did to.
The only thing that I keep from the past,
are the lessons that I've learned.
That night I learned another lesson,
that will make me a better person (for you to love).
I give you my heart to do as you please,
in the hopes that you keep it alive.
You let your walls come tumbling down,
and I'm afraid I've added another brick.
You are so much stronger than I,
so please help me knock it down.

Reason for writing:

This isn't the original poem that I sent to you, Rachel.
I can't find the version I sent you.
I love you
