Still Waters

by Emily (Pisces) - Not entered

deeper, deeper
descending soft
we hear a baby cry
dripping
still waters
upon a baby's fore'
a chivalrous tear
slipped a secret
from your rose cheeks
onto your chest
a tale unfolds
but drink your coffee
slow and sweet
and ponder all your sins
the past does hurt
as does love
still water
never wins

Reason for writing:

Well, I was really bored in Geometry class one day, so I wrote this.
I don't remember what I was thinking...when I'm that bored, I just
write.
