The Vampire

by Alyssa Sandoval - Not entered

He was stunning and almost unreal,
And his confused stare I could feel.
He had a mass of long black hair that shone,
And skin that was flawless and smooth as stone.
His color was so pale and white,
And it reflected the dim moonlight.
His eyes resembled a deep green,
They were unlike any color I'd ever seen.
When he looked at me his eyes were gleaming,
Was he real or was I only dreaming?
He moved closer to stand next to me,
How handsome he was I could clearly now see.
His black clothes made his perfect form outlined,
And when I offered him my hand he declined.
He turned his back and hurried away,
I can still envision him before me down to this very day.
I remember the sorrow and lonliness on his face,
I only hope he found peace somewhere someplace.
