Selena was a vampire, And for him she had an intense desire. She only wanted to love him, Without harm, without sin. But things could never be that way, She lived at night and he during the day. She wanted him to be forever at her side, But her feelings for him she had to hide. Because he loved another, A mortal to be his wife and to his childern a mother. These things Selena knew she could never do, No matter how strong her love was, or how true. Selena left him alone to live his own life, Without interferring or upsetting his wife. But she still loves him down to this very day, In every moment in every way. And while Selena's heart continues to ache, Its only a matter of time before it will break. Although she can give him all her love, trust and desire, It will never make up for the fact that she is vampire. It wasn't long before he was gone, And Selena couldn't go on, As she mourned him she walked on into the dawn.
