                  This flaunted Eden
                 encircled by its seas,
              these Isles of telling tales
                   and vivid memories.
              This place apart from others
              its rivers, lakes, its scenes,
              mountains, forests, fertility
                 shades of growing things.
           Beings of the land / land of the seas
                  home to changing tides,
              challenged & cherished moments;
                 this earth / these skies,
                  Aoteoroa   New  Zealand.

                                                Daniel Howe.

Reason for writing:

    I have submitted this poem because I feel it reflects my thoughts ( and more ) on New Zealand.
