Who begun

by Edgar Vos - Not entered

Under the treath of war
Our hearts are filled with doubt
What are we fighting for
Why can't we work things out

Our pride and dignity
Still is the highest goal
But for our victory
Will to risk it all

No one knows who begun
Or how this thing may end
But no one will have won
Some scars will never mend

Reason for writing:

    Where does inspiration come from?
How can I understand the depths of the heart.
