Passion

by Sarah Ridpath Capricorn - Not entered

Flames ignite
The forbidden fruit
So wrong, yet so right
If you only new the truth

My life as dark as night
And their you are
With your smile so bright
So close, yet so far

Still you can't see
The way I feel
Blind as you may be
My fellings, so withheld yet so real

Here I am
Longing for your touch
Yearning for one celestial dance
Asking so little, yet so much

The flame of passion
Burns so bright, so strong
Almost as if it were a sin
So right, yet so wrong.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem with no one particular in mind. But I submitted it to tell Bob, my one true love, that I still love him.
