sea castles

by brad wilhelm capricorn - Not entered

the velvet sea
sits restlessly
in violent aggravation
the coming storm
with rising force
buries a crimson sun
and tidal screams
with seaweed dreams
play with sanded shore
the castlewall
in silence falls
beneath the driving rain
and kings with queens
in silver scenes
are known to stand undaunted
but the mindless ones are haunted
haunted by the castles of the sea

Reason for writing:

i wrote this because i wanted to see how well i could write
a poeem that produced certain imagery or emotion.
