A mother's love has no measure, Safe inside is her greatest treasure. Deep within her womb does grow, The greatest love she will ever know. A mother's love is of strong convictions, A love so true it has no conditions. Faith and belief help keep her strong, Whenever she feels everything has gone wrong. A mother's love on appearance ne'r judges, Nor against God she holds no grudges. She takes what's been given and holds it dear, And out of love not anger sheds her tears.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem 2 years ago for my sister who was pregnant. Shw had had 2 abortions and finally was ready to start a family and found out that the child she was carrying had spina bifida. She felt that shw was being punished for her mistakes and chose to keep the baby anyway. I was never more proud of my sister in my life and i wrote this poem for her.Birth sign: Not entered
