A poet's dream

by Edgar Vos - Not entered

When listening to your voice
Lost in seas of music
I can hear a nightingale

When looking in your eyes
Lost in seas of joy
I can see the northern lights

You are a poet's dream
A source of inspiration
A new song every day

But heed for your touch
I can shatter the illusion
It can rouse the man inside

Rather have a poet's dream
Than the truth
Of a common man
