IF EVER THERE WAS AN UNHEARD SHOUT If ever there was an unheard shout Verily, Death that shout would surely be For she wrests our souls and then casts them out, To oblivion, eternal destiny. If one inquired, "How does thy garden grow?" Inconsolably, "It hath grown all too well... For from the seeds that long ago were sown Now arrives the end of our living SHELL." With Heaven awakened, the wings descend; Angels! Chariots of fire blaze the sky; Extinguish all...ashes ride the wind... Souls all ponder: Only God who knows why!
