While The Ocean Breaks

by A. D. Young/ pisces - Not entered

While the ocean breaks on the nightly end
I watch the moonlight reflect on the sea
As the waves crash again and again
A nostalgic feeling creeps upon me.

A precious memory so sweet of kiss
With empty feelings of a broken heart
Crying from the memory bliss
Leaving me lonely to fall apart.

As a wave on the ocean, I try to see
That the cold was the feeling of the water's skin
Then I remembered how she looked at me
Then came the pain and tears again.

Back at the sea on that night
I tried to heal the confusion born
I saw the wave an whispering light
Leaving the sea and me so torn.
