I was lonely, depressed, and filled with despair, things looked hopeless, as if He didn’t care. As I sat there staring into the sky, I couldn’t help but wonder why... When I needed Him most, when I needed Him here, He was no where around, He was no where near. So I closed my eyes and said a prayer, asking Him to ease my despair. Then I felt a presence, with my heart and soul, He sent her to help me, once again feel whole. To hold me close and take away my tears, and give me courage to face my fears. I turned toward heaven and opened my eyes, and there before me in the glorious sunrise, Was a beautiful angel dressed in white, glowing in the bright sunlight. I raised my hand to shade my eyes, And suddenly I realized... My angel was gone, but there was a dove, flying towards the trees above. Only then did I understand, as I looked around at God’s great land, He truly works in mysterious ways, and once again I was amazed... For when it seemed He was no where near, when it seemed He didn’t hear... That’s when He opened my eyes, and showed me He was by my side.
Reason for writing:
I've always liked the idea of angels and feel that God speaks to us every day, but we must be looking for it. If we sit and wallow in self-pity, we will not see very far. Every day is a gift from God and we must enjoy it as if it were our last!Birth sign: Not entered
