 " Of Ladies and Light "


Oh, Ladies of lustful, and of virtuous kind,
Please open your hearts to a few thoughts of mine.
You see, in my travels, of near and of far,
I've occasioned, to unlock the secret of stars.
For as much as they are, on a midsummer's night,
Like your eyes, brilliant diamonds of astral delight.
They are, but a candle, when held in compare,
To the fires raging wild, in the souls of the fair.
Now, I sense your resistance, your reasonable doubt,
To submit to the fact that I've figured this out.
Yet, the truth lies in waiting; a wish, I decree !...
In the stars, in yourself, you must first believe.

    I was waiting at a shopping mall, thinking of my new girl and watching all the beautiful women walk by. This poem is for you and her
