Jealousy

by Andrea-leigh G.-Gemini - Not entered

She is what I want to be, and what I strive to be.
Her perfect hair, and flawless skin only compliments
her beautiful eyes and incredible intelligence.
In no way do I compare to her, except for my smile,
for that is the only thing she often lacks.
Her hair is tamed, but her life is not.
Her skin is flawless, yet her friends are far from perfect.
Her smile is beautiful, but her unhappiness makes it hard to see.
Her intelligence is beyond belief,
but yet her parents think that she is stupid.
And yet I long to be her.
To gain her perfect physical attributes,
and lose the perfect emotional stability,
that I somehow was able to acquire.
Yet I am still jealous of her corpse,
while she is jealous of my soul.

Reason for writing:

I am often told that people are jealous of me, and yet i can't
see why. I have an unstable house, and I long to be them.
