Somewhere Tonight

" Somewhere Tonight " Words & Music by K.W.Ferguson

Somewhere tonight,
Far from the light of my cigarette.
Mother and child,
Hide in the shadows, a silhouette.
And only the walls
Hear the steps in the halls,
There's no evidence.
But things are not what they seem,
Heavy tears run steady streams,
In the house of broken dreams.
No, life's not what it should be,
Crystal cracks from the screams,
In the house of broken dreams.

She said, " Take what you want from me,
I need no sympathy,
This kind of pain I can stand on my own.
In the face of a tragedy,
I'll go on endlessly,
Losing my faith and losing my only way home."
