You were an angel sent down from above To capture my heart and win my love. You were there throughout the years To comfort me with all my fears. You always supported my and was always on my side Through the good times and bad or even when I cried. From the beginning you have been my friend I am really sorry our friendship has to end. This is the last time I'll see you in a while You are so beautiful lying there with a smile. It is very hard to see them close your door But I know you'll be safe with God, forever more. I always thought that you would be here Whenever I think of you I shed a tear. I remember all the good times we had together The memories we shared will live forever. Nobody thought that you would go this way At least your soul is here to stay.
Reason for writing:
I was inspired to write this after to being to a funeral.
My mom's best friend died in her sleep. She really took
it hard and so I wrote this to help heal her pain or at
least put her pain at ease.
