As the new day dawns the babe awakes It's mouth ajar; it's hands ashake Unaware of eyes above that watch it cry Imprisoned by a clear plastic sky It's life controlled by tubes and wires Incapable of obtaining that which it requires A simple flick, a life has ceased It's spirit free and pain released A long beep fills the room as nurses rush As it's heartbeat stops, the babe is hushed
