I wish to apologize.my love.I have no song for thee today.
I tried and tried but I fear there is no way.
My muse is gone, she's left my side
With thy disfavor I will abide.
I tried to sing, but no words did come,
I tried to sing, but could merely hum.
I opened my heart, asking it to sing
But alas my love, tis no such thing.
I long to sing of thy eyes so green
I asked for help, do you know what I mean?
I wished to sing the praise of thee
But no tunes do come to me.
I wish to sing of the love in my heart,
Yet I know not where to start.
I wish to sing words so sweet
To tell all of how we did meet.
I shall conjure a bird to fly to thee
To sing a song as if it were from me.
A song of love, A song of praise
A song to last through all the days.
