Forest

by George&Charlie (none) - Not entered

Violet frogs leap from gumnut to gumnut,
Crimson owls coo in the dappled sunlight.
Blue squirrels dart from tree to tree,
Leafy oaks' leaves sway gently in the breeze.
The silence is deafening,
Broken only by the mushrooms,
Creaking gently under the weight of the grasshopper.
On the lakes, the flying fish glide and swoop,Amidst the curling mist from the lake.

Reason for writing:

The entire reason I decided to write this poem, was that
my Science class was a bit boring, so I looked out the
window, and saw this tree, and it was teeming with life, so
there you go.
