Wandering Souls

by Emily - Virgo - Not entered

There are times when I wander the streets
letting my soul guide me
hoping
that our two souls will magnatize
attracting each other
as our souls did once before
as it was meant to be.

If our souls should bring
our bodies together
how will we react?

Will I walk past you
stabbing you with hurt filled pain wrecked eyes?

Or, will my heart fall through the bottom
of the pavement as I halt to gaze upon
you?

Will I tentatively walk towards you
not knowing if I should just say
hi and keep walking?

Or, will I ask you why,
why did you hurt
me the way you did?

Or, will you avert your eyes
walking away
as if you didn¹t see me?

Or, maybe you will greet me with
a welcoming embrace.
Hoping
that I have forgotten
and forgiven you
for abandoning me.

I wonder what will happen should
our two souls meet again.
