Depressed

by Carla Sagitarius - Not entered

Hollow gloom engrosses me.
Murkiness invades my soul,
Swirling, slowly, steadily and relentlessly
Laying to waste the all.
Nothing does chance to impede its advance.
Love and Light retreat.
Everything's doomed, touched with death,
Stained with the promise of failure and regret.
Nothing matters anymore, nothing changes,
Whats it all for!? No one cares. I'll always be alone.
The dead are better off I'm sure.
Shut the doors, shutter the windows,
Play music that sways to the blues in my heart.
Leave me alone, for I'm only kindred to death and all
That lurks in the dark.

Reason for writing:

The dark downward spiral of a day that started with a drizzle of bad news, then the drizzle turned into a deluge.
