I lost the sun and moon today
I lost the stars and sky
I lost the fire, I lost the freeze
I lost the what and why

I lost the joy my heart had held
I lost the hurt as well
I lost the way to the truth
and lies I cannot tell

The world no longer sings to me
Nothing to me seems real
I've lost all pleasure and all pain
I can no longer feel

And so I sit inside the dark
Kept safe from guilt and pain
And wonder if I'll ever care 
to see the sun again
