A Perfect Ten

by Kevin Weis (Freelance Messiah) - Not entered

Defiantly he stood,
unmoving upon a high, rocky crag;
And stared down at the rolling green fields.
The grassy knolls rippled and broke to a crescendo of
    flowery froth.
The hills lapped lovingly at the sharp foothills,
and receeded into a vast green ocean.
He focused on his form,
his toes straight,
his back arced,
his head back.
He looked at the clouds and the judges perched upon
    them.
And slowly bent his knees and dove.
Beautifully he soared,
his body twisting and flipping in a complex pattern,
straightening seconds before impact-

And his penetration produced not a splash.

Reason for writing:

    futility etc.
