What Would it take?

by Carla, Sagitarius - Not entered

<b> What would it Take?

It would only take a couple of words for all my heart and soul to be yours.
It would only take a minute or two and all of forever I'd give to you.
It would only take a lingering glance and we'd both know there was a chance.
It would only take you taking the risk, to erase the pain of the Judas kiss.

But those words, you will not speak; that minute, you cannot give; that look,
you will not pass; that risk, you will not take.

I for one have done my part and been left nothing save a broken heart.
A hole where once was so much love, now's flood with lonliness. Hurt and shunned.

God and I know I love and will miss you, I do,
                                         with all my soul,
                                                    so miss you!

Reason for writing:

breaking up. That last stead of hope dying as my love removed the last of his things from my place.
