If you know the effect you’ve had on this drowning man you opened my eyes, touched my heart, just by taking my hand, Like a brave lighthouse you brought me through my storm to feel your love, to give it back, was the reason I was born, You pulled me from my churning sea with a simple smile you showed me how good my life can be if only for a short while, My butterflies they take flight with your gentle touch my love for you is so true, you’ll never know how much, I pledge my heart to you, to our unfinished life I’ll wait as long as it takes till you become my wife, My rain has ceased, the rainbow bright, I’ve seen the pot of gold I will live my life with you, with you I will grow old.
