My heart is faint, and needs to know,
That when I need you, you will be there,
That when I’m lonely, I’ll know you care.
Love me fully, for if you do not,
In empty solitude I will be caught,
I’m scared of being all alone,
Looking back on love I’ve known.
Love me fully, and tell me now,
If you do, and why, and how,
Take my hand and tell me so,
And if you don’t away I’ll go.
Love me fully, for I love you so,
Just how much, you may never know.
