Morning

by Dianne M-pisces - Not entered

When the morning light spreads across your face and raises you up from quiet dreams,
I whisper sweet thanks to whoever caused it.
With your dewy morning lips
and clouded waking eyes
I can think of nothing to want-
Because when I met you meaning was given to chaos and melody to silence.
You were given to my emptiness and fill my hidden lonely places.

Reason for writing:

I'm in love with my best friend and he doesn't really know it and I used to wake him up every morning to go to breakfast before our morning class.
