Cold Turkey Rides The Horse

by Joseph Negrete; Virgo - Not entered

I had been away,
Off for awhile.

Hell, I even forgot what that room
	looked like.

Down

	Low

		In the cold

I don't know why I went back.
Does Anybody know why we go back?

It's as if we will one day return to the sea.
Children are we?	Fish to be!

Well, anyhow there I was
In my basement room,

Loading the gun to shoot my self.
I took aim, squeezed the trigger and...

	      POW!

Ten minutes of pure r..u..s..h. & euphoria.
High as a kite its a long slobber road back down.

Strung out on addiction I can't control
Tomorrow, I think I'll buy a gun.
