Though we were miles apart, I never could forget, just how much you mean to me, and it's not over yet. My heart is filled with sorrow, now that you are gone, but someday in the future, I will be along. Our friendship will continue, for eternity... So Susan, rest in peace, and keep a place for me. Reason for writing:
My childhood friend died recently, and shear quilt has racked
my heart. For many years I have said I must go and visit
her, now it's too late. She must wait still for my visit.
It's a way for me to release some of the quilt, and to tell
her that I'm sorry for not being there when she needed me the
most.
