untitled

by daisy lynn cain - Not entered

It was a summer of grand delight.
Colourful flowers, all in bloom.
Sun rays streaming, crisp and bright.
Joy dripping from clouds, not a hint of gloom.

Two lovers who met in a field of velvet green.
What he saw in her eyes, so pure and clean.
Setting out across the field,
Hand in hand, and heart and heart.
Filled for one another,
With the ecsence of love, both sweet and tart.
