Memories

by Mouse, Capricorn - Not entered

The sun warmed memories
That come to my mind
As I look at your smile, so bright.
The fun that we shared those summer nights
Has left so quickly without a trace.
I remember the times
When we laughed and we cried
Together, alone,
No worries, no fears.
You vanished so quickly,
Not saying goodbye,
I waited and waited
From morning till night.
It struck me so hard as I realized with fright:
You were up in the clouds,
No longer with us.
As I look at your picture
I remember the days.
I wish you were here.
Together we would be.
