Destruction

by Nina...Cancer - Not entered

I walked through the fields today; Where once were flowers were now sightless eyes staring up at me. Even my tears falling to the ground could not bring them back to life. They were gone forever Their cries for help, unheard; I ran from that field today.

Reason for writing:

Watching the pitiful and horrifying film of all those murdered civilians in Bosnia, and the men who were so desperately trying to put an identity to them. A heart-breaking situation.
