Twilight

by Renee Zborowsky Libra - Not entered

Tonight she walks outside,
to bask in the moonlit scenery.
Tiny sparkles in a backdrop,
of the deepest blue.
The stars twinkle,
like they are laughing,
winking, calling her name.
A glowing horn of gold,
sits among the constellations,
sending its magic down to Earth.
The girl makes a wish,
on the brightest star.
For the nights to always be this peaceful.
She sings a wistful song,
high up towards the moon.
Calls the dreamweaver,
to give her sweet dreams and happy tomarrows.
One last look at the dark sky.
She gives a smiles of sleepiness,
and wanders back into civilization.

Reason for writing:

One night I couldn't sleep, so I went outside and looked at the sky and it inspired me.
