Confidence

CONFIDENCE

It's just me, I used to think,
and with that thought continuously sink,
farther down in my own little world,
where all were slaves and I was lord.
But then, always then, at the end of my dreams,
I'd come back to the world where despair reigns supreme.
Where power, money, non-rejection and pride,
go to the guy with the lovable Hyde.

Then one day, while away in my dreams,
I thought how idiotic my life really seems.
So I called my magician, and I asked him to state,
the name of a remedy that would cure my fate.
He thought for a minute before turning around,
and said with a stomp of his foot on the ground,
"Confidence is the drug that you seek,
gain that and the smell of success will you reek!"

Well, my time has grown short, so I must say adieu,
but before I depart I will leave this with you:
"You are who you are, and you always will be,
for you are the one who clearly can see,
into your dreams, to seek your real me."
