Road Travels

by Guy - Virgo - Not entered

Wandering down the roads of my life,
Seeing little towns I've passed through.
Glimpses of things
That once were precious to me,
She stopped here herself
When I could say no more.

A rest for a moment,
A breath that was needed,
I looked in the windows
Of houses we found there.
The white picket fences were
All of a piece,
They hide all the places
Where we once exist.

A stop on the road
To places we once were,
The children all laughing
Tears there were found.
We came there together
I left there alone,
I wander the road
Looking for a place
To call home.

Reason for writing:

Realizing that once a moment has passed it is gone.
