sitting alone

by Russ Fryman {Leo} - Not entered

Sitting here alone with nothing to do
so I close my eyes and think about you
I remember your hair
and your beautiful blue stare
I wish with all my heart that you were here
But I'm alone and no one cares
But I know that soon I'll be in your embrace
with my kisses covering your beautiful face
You're like a drug for which I fiend
You're the only one I see in my dreams
I wish we could be together...
just for a little while
I would give anything to see your smile
Everything I see reminds me of you
but I'm sitting here alone with nothing to do.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem for Alisha Clark,
whom I love with all my heart.
My friend Amanda told me I should try to get it published,
and since there are no decent magazines around St. Louis,
I searched the web for places to put it.
